E-TEC Power Management Ltd. is thrilled to announce that we have been honoured with the prestigious DCS Data Centre ICT Management (DCIM) Innovation of the Year Award, and was presented at a ceremony in London, May 2023. This recognition underscores our commitment to excellence and the outstanding contributions we have made to the Data Centre industry.
The DCS Award is a testament to our dedication, relentless pursuit of innovation, and unwavering focus on delivering exceptional products and services to our clients. It recognises the companies that have demonstrated remarkable achievements, industry leadership, and a commitment to driving positive change.
The awarding organisation and esteemed panel of judges evaluated numerous applications based on various criteria. Once the shortlist was announced, the general public had the chance to review and vote. We are humbled and proud that E-TEC emerged as the clear winner due to our innovative development to offer full redundancy in our monitoring solutions.
What did we do? We created a new Ignition database system to provide full redundancy in our monitoring solutions. Basically, we are providing a High Availability (HA) without incurring any significant increase in configuration complexity. The tangible impact this solution provides is a HA in larger systems better than 99.999% apart from easier and quicker maintenance. Unlike synchronised virtual machines, this solution scales very well!

Our development was specially designed for this Harlow based operator which specialises in providing hyperscale facilities for big data-producing companies and life sciences-related organisations who need architecture specialised for advanced, high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (AI) deployments.
